Respect the original.

STAIRVEIL creates original editorial work, credits its sources, and directs readers toward legitimate ways to explore complete books.

Original work and attributed sources

The STAIRVEIL interface, original illustrations, interactive experiences, commentary, and writing belong to STAIRVEIL or their respective licensors. Books, titles, authors, translations, artworks, and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Brief references, historical discussion, original interpretation, and limited quotations are used for identification, criticism, commentary, or education as permitted by applicable law. A reference does not imply ownership, endorsement, or affiliation.

Legitimate access, never piracy

Complete-book links are intended to lead to public-domain repositories, authorized public resources, legitimate digital libraries, publishers, or independent bookstores. Contemporary copyrighted works may be available through lawful library borrowing, subject to account requirements, local availability, and lending limits.

STAIRVEIL does not intentionally host unauthorized complete books, bypass paywalls, distribute pirated files, or encourage visitors to infringe copyright. Copyright status can vary by country and translation. Visitors are responsible for respecting the rules that apply where they live.

Report a copyright concern

If you believe material appearing on STAIRVEIL infringes your rights, use the Contact page and choose the Legal topic. Include the copyrighted work, the exact STAIRVEIL page or link, enough detail to identify the material, your contact information, and a statement explaining your authority and good-faith concern.

Where a formal notice is appropriate, include your physical or electronic signature, a good-faith statement that the challenged use is not authorized, and a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act for the rights holder.

Credible reports are reviewed promptly. Material or links may be corrected, disabled, or removed where appropriate. Repeat infringement or deliberate misuse may result in restricted access.

Corrections and attribution

If an author, edition, attribution, license, or external source has been identified incorrectly, let us know through Contact. Good-faith corrections are part of maintaining a useful, respectful archive.
