EFFECTIVE AUGUST 20, 2026
Terms for entering.
These terms keep the boundary clear: STAIRVEIL offers interactive learning, sound, reading, and general knowledge. It does not replace professional care or your own judgment.
1. Agreement
By accessing or using STAIRVEIL, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are below the age of legal majority where you live, a parent or guardian must permit your use.
2. What STAIRVEIL is
STAIRVEIL is an interactive learning and self-reflection experience containing procedural graphics, binaural and layered sound fields, original reading, historical context, and symbolic or philosophical lenses. Content classifications and careful wording distinguish observed information from philosophical, symbolic, historical, reported, belief-based, or speculative material.
STAIRVEIL does not promise enlightenment, prediction, diagnosis, treatment, healing, or a particular physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, or professional result.
3. Health and safety
STAIRVEIL is not medical, mental-health, legal, or emergency advice. Do not use it as a substitute for a qualified professional. If you are in immediate danger or crisis, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service.
Listen at a comfortable volume. Do not use Resonance while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires full external attention. Stop if sound or visuals cause pain, dizziness, distress, disorientation, or other unwanted symptoms. Reduced-motion and reduced-stimulation options are available, but you remain responsible for choosing whether and how to use the experience.
4. Your saved path
STAIRVEIL can be explored without an account. Device-local progress may be lost if browser storage is cleared or the device becomes unavailable. Previously stored information remains protected and may be managed when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or service changes.
5. Your messages and submissions
You retain ownership of the messages you submit. You give STAIRVEIL the limited permission needed to protect previously saved information, transmit Contact messages to the operator, and otherwise operate the service. Do not submit content you do not have the right to use, malicious code, unlawful material, or another person’s highly sensitive information without permission.
6. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to bypass security, access another visitor’s private information, interfere with the service, overload forms or endpoints, scrape the service in a way that harms availability, impersonate another person, or use STAIRVEIL for unlawful activity. Submissions may not contain threats, harassment, spam, dangerous instructions, or another person’s identifying information without permission.
7. Intellectual property
STAIRVEIL’s name, visual identity, interface, original writing, sound design, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms allow personal use of the service; they do not transfer ownership or permit republication, resale, copying of substantial content, or creation of a confusingly similar service without permission.
Referenced books and external materials belong to their respective rights holders. STAIRVEIL provides original commentary and links to public-domain repositories, authorized publishers, libraries, or other legitimate sources; it does not intentionally host or direct visitors to unauthorized copies. Copyright concerns and removal requests are covered by the Copyright & Rights Policy.
8. Third-party services
STAIRVEIL may rely on third parties for hosting, authentication, analytics, or future advertising. Their services may be governed by separate terms. STAIRVEIL is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.
External library availability, copyright status across jurisdictions, lending requirements, and third-party prices may change. Links do not promise that a particular edition will remain available or free in every location. Advertising and any material commercial relationships are explained in the Advertising & Disclosure Policy.
9. Availability and disclaimers
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, that every device will support every audio or graphics feature, or that content will fit every person or situation.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, STAIRVEIL and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, or loss arising from reliance on the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Changes, governing law, and contact
These terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by applicable United States and Florida law, without overriding consumer protections that apply where you live.
Questions can be submitted through the Contact page.
